If the phrase goes: “first as a tragedy; then as a farce”; what would the phrase be on the fourth time around on bombing and hedging another unilateral war in Iraq (or the territory of the Islamic State now …) against a group whom we had armed and supplied with resources during another war? Would it be absolute absurdity? Banality of evil within repetition? or just another sign of the U.S. empire-like-rule on global politics?
This honestly is looking less and less like just failures of individual presidents foreign policy, but the entire conception of the U.S. entire foreign policy as a whole: Perpetual war in favor of American hegemony.
